Lynne's Story
When we first met special education director Lynne, she had already been aggressively recruiting for a speech-language pathologist for "ages". School days were ticking away and she had no way to fulfill the special education needs of her students. Panicked, she new if she continued searching for the traditional placement, she would get more of what she already had - no SLP.
Lynne reached out to us. Our online speech therapy platform meant that she could have a qualified SLP serving her students almost immediately. No relocation. No travel budget. No waiting.
Building a relationship with Lynne was easy. We share the same values and goals when it comes to service delivery: The needs of the students must be considered paramount and the quality of service must prove to be exceptional. Within days of us establishing a service partnership, my team started assessments, participated in IEP meetings, and initiated therapy with the students. Just like that, the students had their very own speech-language pathologist committed to making a difference in their lives and Lynne could exhale knowing she had brought quality speech therapy services to her students.
School years have come and go at this school. We have been blessed to experience the pure joy in celebrating each student as he or she graduates from the TinyEYE program as a confident, competent communicator. For students who will need ongoing support, we partner with education assistants and teachers to ensure the students are immersed in a communication enriched environment that enables them to reach for their potential.
