I was recently informed that an article about TinyEYE and telepractice was published by Dr. Kari Miller, a writer for the Los Angeles Special Education Examiner. In the article, she talks about what TinyEYE is doing to help school districts provide speech and language services to their students.
Here is a little piece of the article,
"Serving children and adults who have limited access to remedial speech and language services is the mission of TinyEYE Therapy Services.
TinyEYE connects qualified Speech-Language Pathologists with school districts and students using interactive online software. TinyEYE has provided over 10,000 speech and language therapy sessions to students aged two through eighteen since its creation in 2005.
Speech and language pathology (SLP) services provide help to students who have difficulty producing speech sounds, speaking in complete sentences, speaking fluently, or regulating their voice quality...."
